We are proud to announce that the Telligen’s Blue Ribbon in COVID-19 Vigilance Award was awarded to our community, Casey’s Pond. This award recognizes the community’s commitment to preventing the spread of COVID-19 and places the organization on Telligen’s Colorado 2022 Blue Ribbon in COVID-19 Vigilance Recognition List.
Nursing homes on the Telligen recognition list have met criteria to prevent the spread of COVID-19 for the safety of their residents and staff. This includes completing a COVID-19 preparedness attestation and achieving a staff COVID-19 vaccination rate of 95% or greater, a resident COVID-19 vaccination rate of 95% or greater, and a resident booster rate of 90% or greater.
“The Christian Living Communities/Cappella clinical team is dedicated to supporting the communities in implementing infection control protocols, following COVID regulations, and continued infection control training and auditing,” explained Pat McBride, CLC’s Vice President of Clinical and Compliance. “The care partners work very hard in the communities to ensure that they wash their hands frequently, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, are screened daily for COVID and are appropriately vaccinated. CLC care partners take their role in protecting the residents from viruses, including COVID, very seriously.”
We as an organization are honored by this recognition of hard work and dedication to our residents and staff. This provides even more momentum as we continue to create communities where aging is honored and celebrated. For a full list of award winners, please visit the Telligen QI Connect website.
