Casey’s Pond Doak Walker neighborhood, Yampa Valley’s premiere senior living community, won the 2023 Customer Experience Award from Pinnacle Quality Insight, a nationally recognized customer satisfaction firm. This is the third straight year to earn this prestigious recognition which is based on interviews with residents and families over a 12-month period. The award places Casey’s Pond Doak Walker neighborhood in the top 15% of care providers in the nation.
In one of the most beautiful natural settings nestled in the mountains in Steamboat Springs, CO, the Doak Walker neighborhood at Casey’s Pond provides senior rehabilitation and skilled nursing care services in a caring and warm setting for both short- and long-term stays. The highly qualified and caring staff learns each resident’s goals in order to help them with a personalized care plan. With 42 private and 12 shared suites, registered nurses, nursing assistants and caregivers are able to prioritize the residents’ recovery and health care needs.
The Pinnacle Award is a meaningful accolade because it is based on live interviews with real residents and their families who are able to express their genuine feedback to an unbiased third party. During the interview, people are free to share their honest feedback and any concerns they may have which allows for the staff to respond with any needed remedies or know they are doing a good job.
Receiving a Customer Experience Award is quite an honor. Out of the 2,700 care providers over 150,000 customer interviews are conducted each year and only those that are the 85th percentile or higher receive this award. Casey’s Pond was awarded in 11 categories:
