Casey’s Pond Doak Walker Neighborhood was recently awarded the 2020 Customer Experience Award from Pinnacle Quality Insight. This honor is awarded to the top 10% Skilled Nursing Communities in the United States. Only 14 communities in Colorado were awarded Pinnacle’s Best in Class Customer Service Awards. We are proud to be one of them.

Casey’s Pond Skilled Nursing community qualified for this distinguished award in the categories of Quality of Food, Cleanliness, Response to Problems, Safety and Security, Dignity and Respect and Recommend to Others based on our continued dedication to providing Best in Class senior healthcare services.

“Best in Class” is an award often associated with cars or travel. But when it comes to measuring success as a community for older adults, aspects such as dignity, caring, and respect become the standards we care most about. Executive Director Brad Boatright is thrilled to have received this recognition, particularly during the COVID-19, “While satisfaction surveys are traditionally conducted annually in our industry, we believe that quality improvement has to be measured continuously. This monthly feedback process is one of the best ways for us to understand and react to the voice of residents and their families. It’s not enough to look at a numerical rating. For Casey’s Pond to be the best of the best, it must value the conversation and meaning behind the statistics. Following the belief that quality is achieved by focusing on the individual, we base our decision making on the factors that matter most to each person.”

Casey’s Pond staff of registered nurses, nursing assistants and caregivers is dedicated to residents’ recovery and health care needs. Over the course of 2019, a sampling of guests, residents, and their families have participated in monthly telephone interviews that include open-ended questions, as well the opportunity to rate us in specific categories.
